Our History

Grow, IncGrow, Inc. provides habilitation services and employment opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities. While our focus is primarily on the adult series, we also provide opportunities for school age children in the summer months when the public school is not in session. We have provided services in Brown County since 1971 and are the largest and oldest provider of adult day services in the county. Our goal is to assist the individuals we serve in leading a productive, satisfying, and enjoyable life with a focus on encouraging independence. At Grow, Inc. “We Cultivate Success!”
 
Music RoomGrow, Inc. is proud of the employment opportunities offered at our facility. We partner with several businesses. Our current partners include: Cincinnati Dowel, Stanley Tool, Riverview Productions, General Assembly, the Ohio Department of Transpiration, and the Brown County Board of Developmental Disabilities. Our individuals provide sorting, labeling, packaging, janitorial, assembly, recycling, and lawn care services for our partners through contracted work. Our employment opportunities do not stop with our contracts however. We also create our own employment through offering a distinct line of services and products to the citizens and businesses of Brown County. These include: paper shredding, custom t-shirts and transfers, awards, engraving, plaques, clocks, buttons, ribbons, dog tags, seasonal flowers/vegetables, lawn care, janitorial/cleaning, light assembly, packaging, sorting, recycling, custom handbags, crafts, and the list continues to grow! We actively seek out new opportunities for our individuals to use their skill set and interests in an employment area within the community or at our facility.

Computer RoomGrow, Inc. is not all about work however! We also provide educationally based and fun habilitation opportunities for the individuals we serve. Currently we have the following habilitation areas: library/tech area for reading, math, and computer education; music area for playing instruments, singing, performing, and study of musicians and music genres; art area for painting, crafting, drawing, and art study; apartment area for daily living skill development such as cooking, cleaning, dish washing, etc.; exercise area; and a gym area. Grow, Inc. aLibrarylso schedules dances and other events throughout the year.
